Ka Huna Massage

“Pure Bliss on a massage table”

Ka Huna massage technique is very rhythmic. Our practitioner uses their fingers, palms, wrists and forearms as they move rhythmically around the table.

Ka Huna massage is known to have a deeply relaxing effect and is at the heart of an ancient healing system developed by the native Hawaiians. Ka Huna massage is also known as Hawaiian Temple Style Massage and Lomi Lomi and was used traditionally for ritualised Rites of Passage. A holistic approach to healing, it touches all facets of mind, body and spirit and therefore has in its power the ability to spiritually protect, bodily heal and mentally soothe.

With Ka Huna massage our practitioner is completely focused on the you, the client, with an attitude of love and compassion.

This is the essence of the “aloha” spirit that is sacred to the people of Hawaii. The ancient Hawaiians used 7 principles of Huna Philosophy to inform their practice. By focusing on these principles the therapist can work with and move the energy and rhythms in the client’s mind, body and soul.
